You can't have a Sunday without something sweet, so I invite you to a simple cake, easy to make and tasty.
- 175 g butter
- 175 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 175 g flour
- 3 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 125 g sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
Preparation time: less than 60 minutes
RECIPE PREPARATION Chip with poppy seeds:
Rub the soft butter with sugar until a fluffy cream results, add eggs one at a time, flour, poppy seeds and milk. Turn over in a greased tray or with baking paper and leave in the oven over low heat for 1 hour, doing the toothpick test. Remove the cake from the pan, put it on a grill, prick it with a skewer stick, pour the syrup on top then cut into slices and serve
For the syrup: put the ingredients in a bowl on the fire, after the sugar has melted, take out the cinnamon and pour it over the cake.
