I still saw zebra cake recipes and it seemed complicated and sophisticated until I tried it too. I was very happy and it goes perfectly with a cup of tea or a cup of coffee on a cold day and more.

  • 1 cup and a half milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 dogs flour
  • half a cup of oil
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • peel of a lemon

Preparation time: less than 90 minutes


In a bowl I added milk, sugar and oil and mixed with a whisk. I added flour with baking powder slowly in the composition. I divided the composition into 2 and in one I put cocoa and in the other lemon peel. In a form of wallpapered cake I put a polish of composition with cocoa, one with lemon and so on until I added the whole composition.

Leave it in the oven for about 60 minutes and check with a toothpick. Leave to cool before removing from the pan.
