I have apricots in the yard, so it was a shame not to make a little jam

RECIPE PREPARATION Apricot jam:
Evening: I washed the apricots, I took out the seeds, I put them in the pan and the sugar on top, leaving them like this until the morning. The next day I put them on low heat, stirring often, for about 2 hours. I put the jam in jars, then wrapped them in paper and let them boil in a bain-marie for about 1.5 hours.
That was all, but I got a jam ... quality 1.
